I just visited Yoko Ono's "Imagine PeaceTower" in Second Life.

The site is a replica of the existing Imagine Peace Tower located in Iceland. In Second Life, you get to watch a video explaining how John actually "summoned" Yoko to his home when he read about her vision for a Peace Tower of Light; it was the start of their relationship. Obviously it inspired "Imagine" which plays throughout the video. Best video experience I have had in SL.
I also flew around the small island on my own power, then sat in a cloud chair which took me a long way up the light beam, then brought me back down. Made me think that my idea of having flying, folded paper cranes for the Virtual Peace Garden wouldn't be such a bad or impossible idea.
Had two very (okay, somewhat) normal, interesting conversations in the location. The first avatar directed me to Imagine Space, which is a cosmic hangout that gives visitors a completely different look and feel--no more hanging out in gardens; this place lets you hang out on an asteroid or something. Actually pretty boring, though crowded.
I stepped off the asteroid and fell, fell, fell--supposed to be one of the great SL experiences (free falling). I was a little underwhelmed, but ended up on a nice little tropical island with a couple of avatars speaking Spanish. Then I headed back to the Imagine Peace island, where I had another interesting conversation with an avatar who said, after talking about John and Yoko for a while, "I love you." I said "Thanks." She said "Can you say it?" I said "I love you." She replied "Most men can't." I said, "I bet men who visit this island can." She seemed to think that was funny. Then she left.
Lots of links to Yoko Ono's projects.
